Reports undertaken on Residential and Commercial Property:
Building Survey
Formerly known as the Structural Survey. This is a comprehensive report suitable for all types of property, but is particularly useful when considering purchasing older property or those of unusual construction.
Defects are identified, together with possible causes, and the necessary remedial or investigative action to be taken. Reports are written in layman’s terms supplemented with photographs where appropriate.
To obtain the most benefit from your report you should make us aware of any concerns you may have or if you are proposing to extend or undertake structural alterations. We will focus on the relevant issues and tailor the report to your individual requirements.
HomeSurvey or Homebuyer Report
This report is written in an easy to understand standardised format suitable for most conventional residential property types.
It is more economic to commission, highlighting only significant defects and the necessary remedial or investigative action to be taken. It can also include a market valuation and reinstatement cost for insurance purposes if required.
More information as to the scope of what can expected in the reports is provided in the Terms and Conditions for the above services.
Defect Identification Analysis
A report can be commissioned on a specific defect such as subsidence or dampness etc.
The defect is identified with in depth analysis given on the causes. The condition is discussed with the necessary remedial, investigative or other action to be taken. This type of report is usually supplemented with a comprehensive photographic record.
